Sunday Squibs

We can discern the future using our imagination, or we can cobble together a picture of what’s to come based on the prophets.

After completing his work, God rested on Sunday

I was born on a Monday.

It’s now Saturday.

This motel is dated?

No matter. I’m in

A hair in the tub is

A much graver sin

Knowing how to hug takes a certain knack

How long, how tight , how many pats on the back

The Catholic squared circle’s emerging

To the Trinity’s added the Virgin

With the Son by the Father’s begotten

We can’t for the birth let the mom be forgotten

I have to leave my comfort zone

To figure out my new smartphone.

When I see bad behavior I blame the parents.

Then I go on to blame their parents.

And it's bad parents all the way down to Adam and Eve.

Aware of my awareness

Is that a double bind?

Admit it son admit it

To the real world you are blind

My personality

Fits like a glove

I can't wear the mate

It's worn by my love

They say that God dwells in the other

There lies a great paradox here

When we try to please God and do what he likes

It can light up our neighbor with murderous fear
