Astrological:  The study of the positions and motions of celestial bodies in the belief that they have an influence on the course of natural earthly occurrences and human affairs.

Since I wasn't really sure what I was trying to say, I guess either word would have worked.  

An astrolabe is another word that starts with astro.  An astrolabe is an instrument formerly used to make astronomical measurements.  It seems like all astro words have to do with space somehow.  The father of all astro words is the Jetson's Astro.
