Sunday Squibs

When we think we’re doing good we must examine our motivations, as the person who thinks he can fly examines the edge of the cliff.

Love conquers all.

Even passive aggression.

To keep things interesting I start a new morning routine every couple of weeks.

Some fine morning I probably won’t even wake up.

Don’t worship anyone. Realize that if they were in your shoes, they’d probably be a basket case.

I feel guilty I’m not doing anything to improve the big picture. The real shame would be not doing anything about the little picture.

As at sea, so in life, we don’t see the rocky reefs until the tide is out.

No need to panic if we’ve taken aboard a good pilot.

The short-order cook is the true master of multi-tasking.

The person who enjoys telling other people what they're thinking makes the best critic of movies and books.

They're not often right, but at least they're provocative.

  1. If we were talking over tea, I'd point to several of these and ask you to tell me more. I'm keeping a list for our next visit.
Sounds like there are some good stories here.
