Wannaskan Almanac for Tuesday, November 22, 2022 Writers Block

I stole Tom Clancy's wooden cube.  I now have writer's block.

I ain't givin' this back, Clancy!

A whole bunch of poets bought up both sides of the street.  We now live in a writer's block.

Prose a'plenty on my street!

Speaking of poetry street, there is actually a website by that name.  https://poetrystreet.com/  is a Florida based poets website.  They have love and hope poetry, and also a category called this and that.  Feel free to check it out.

Did you ever wonder what https stands for?  Well, wonder no longer my afraid to search up stuff on google friend!  https stands for Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure.  That s at the end stands for secure.  When you see it you know that the website you are visiting is both encrypted and verified.  Which of course means nothing really.  You can still get a virus or end up somewhere you don't want to be.  Like the Wannaskan Almanac...or Tom Clancy's personal website.  Here it is if you dare!   https://tomclancy.com/   Note that s...it is secure...or is it?

The end part of a domain names are often Top Level Domains...or TLD's.  Some samples are .com, .edu, .org, and .net.  .com used to stand for Commercial websites and .org used to stand for non-profit websites.  They can still generally be categorized that way but there are so many that it is hard to say for sure.

Well, that is all the rambling I can do today.  I guess that is what happens when you have writers block.  See y'all next week!

  1. Writer's block is all in your head. Not your specific head. Any writer's head who thinks he or she can't come up with anything worth reading. The cure according to Dr. Logos is to start writing. Write anything, and eventually you'll come up with the good stuff.
This cure takes time, and your deadline has passed, and you've been fired, and you have to take a job at the toy factory to feed the family.
But Tom Clancy-like success would have been so predictable. Your real life is poetry.
