Wannaskan Almanac for October 12, 2021...A Whole Lot of Nothing

So it has come to this...a Wannaskan Almanac clip show.

I have always wanted to say that.  Then I want to add in that today's episode is sponsored by Great Clips

Newly opened on 75th Street NE in Wannaska

Unfortunately the Wannaskan Almanac does not receive any advertising money.  Our only support is what we receive in the form of the occasional round bought by an admiring...I mean inebriated...fan who thinks we work for another publication such as the Moose River Daily News or the Malung Meditations.

Oh...you are still reading?  I tried my best to make you click on something else or resort to adult coloring pages but I guess you are still here.  Since you stuck around I will try harder to make you leave.  Here are ten commonly mispelled words:

1. Accommodate

2. Embarrassing

3. Rhythm

4. Definitely

5. Separate

6. Receive

7. Necessary

8. Guarantee

9. Judgment

10. Scissors

What the...you are still here?  You must really like misspelled words.  (Did you notice I gave you a bonus word up above?)  You can find a bigger list here.

Glutton for punishment huh?  I guess it must be one of those things like when you watch a whole movie even though the first 80 minutes are terrible but you figure that it is going to get better.  Then the last 20 minutes is even worse.  Then you tell all your friends about how much you loved it so they will go out and watch it too and either hate you or wish they were as smart as you so they could understand why you liked it so much.   I am not sure if there is a word that describes that.  If there is I am sure I would spell it wrong.  Here is some random people's thoughts about movies that were a complete waste of time.

At least the seats are comfortable

You are a very dedicated reader.  I can't believe you can't find something else to do.  I almost think I should offer you something of substance.  Perhaps a limerick.
There once was a man with a stick
Who everyone thought was a
Who was looking for a place to kick
He saved up some cash
And prepared for a dash

Rhyming and Walking...the Reese's Cup of Ireland

You made it to the end.  Pour yourself a glass of wine and kill off those brain cells that somehow kept you wishfully reading.  You deserve it!  See you next week!

  1. I ever you visit old Limerick
Do not write a verse or play the hick
    Tour the Castle King John
    Stretch yourself on the lawn
Take a nap, it's the best and the final trick
