Words I Looked Up This Week Writer's Challenge
Make a single sentence (or poem) from the following words:
callipygian, chantage, hoggin, kinnikinnick, merkin, patulous, spurrier, wabbit
Wannaska World
I've decided to take Wannaska World off as a regular feature of the Wednesday Wannaskan Almanac and return to the word-focused format. As a collaborative community writing project, Wannaska World has been great fun, and I hope to continue this project elsewhere. Thank you to all my fellow Wannaska Almanac contributors for their installments and story ideas!
Be better than yesterday, learn a new word today, and try to stay out of trouble - at least until tomorrow.

A poem, in response to the "Words I Looked Up Challenge."
ReplyDeleteHis wife fixed my merkin, the spurier my spurs,
And I left on the hoggin, 'neath the patulous firs.
I smoke kinnikineck 'cause I've lost all my money,
A victim of chantage brought on by a bunny
Yes, I'll kick his callipygian behind, dang nabbit
If ever I locate that bad cwazy wabbit.
