For the past 15 years I have had a little ankle biter running aroud my house. Sadly we had to put him down the other day. Putting down a pet is never easy. It was extemely difficult with this one. Luv was very small chihuahua. I bought him as a surprise for my daughter when she was only about 5 years old. It was also a surprise for my beautiful wife. When I brought him home, she was less than enthusiastic about having a new pet. Luckily, the little chihuahua was adorable...cuteness saved him many times during his life.
I figure it took all of 2 days for Luv to capture my wife's heart. This is a little shocking since it took me months to convince her to give me the time of day. Well, maybe not quite that long, but she did capture my heart in a matter of seconds. After getting over the initial shock of becoming a pet owner, she did fall in love with Luv, and became his favorite person.
One of our last memories of him is when he was enjoying a pup cup. We were driving around with Luv and went through a coffee shop drive through and they offered him a pup cup. This is a cup of whipped cream and a dog biscuit. He really liked those! And, since I like coffee, going there was something we could agree on!

After Luv and my wife adopted each other, they became inseperable. Whether it was a family portrait or a family vacation, the plans had to involve Luv. At this point I have to let you know that Luv's name was seriously ironic. He was often an angry and hate filled little dog. My wife was quick to say that his cuteness saved him on more than one occasion.

Sadly, on Friday June 13, Luv was put to rest. He will forever be remembered as a dog who captured my wife's heart...perhaps due to his penchance for biting me. We will miss him!
I am sorry for your loss. He was well loved by you guys
