Hey, it would've been far more difficult without Kathy's help; in addition, had I kept better track of him, he wouldn't have suffered as long as he did and for that I'm ashamed. Although he knew he had a sheltered and insulated doghouse with plenty of clean straw and above-ground floor, and available food, he decided not to go there; I let that provision replace my awareness of his location. That wasn't right.
