Sunday Squibs

Fix my faults? It would be easier to fix the San Andreas Fault.

A quake-proof foundation is the way to go.

Build on your strengths till others see your faults merely as interesting dueling scars.

Polarization?

I’ll have them both:

When the North Pole is dark

It’s sunny down South

And then as a bonus, on dark polar nights

The shimmering aurora’s red and blue lights

If I could be Lord Jesus

I would cure the blind and lame

Turn the tables in the temple

Then His fate would be my same

Mary Shelly wrote a book all about AI

He thought to do good deeds did Doctor Frankenstein

But when the monster ran amok

T'was then too late to whine

We worry AI will do evil deeds once it develops a consciousness.

Worse deeds than ours?

No worries.

I've given up looking for the book that will tell me how to live. I'm writing it myself.

I'll be starting the introduction as soon as I finish the preface.

In late December when I buy a new diary, I feel I’ve committed to living another year.

All we can remember about some nights is that they were memorable.
