Sunday Squibs

We may think ourselves past our prime, but we have an infinite number of primes.

Look at the Good Thief on the cross.

I always thought the Deep State was a figment of Trump’s imagination.

Now I’m hoping it will save the country from his imagination.

Are we all racists at heart?

The term tribalist might better describe our fear of the other.

The press has much more fun attacking a right wing incumbent than defending a left wing one.

We are comfortable with gas cars because we rely on the unwritten law that when the low fuel light comes on, there will always a gas station within two gallons of the average American gas hog.

We say never to electric vehicles like we used to say never to smart phones.

Keeping our devices charged has been good practice for keeping our future electric vehicles topped up.

Republicans feel like the Israelites in exile in Babylon. Trump is their Cyrus, the Persian king who conquered the Babylonians and, though a pagan, sent the Israelites back to Jerusalem.

The Democrats see Trump as Nebuchadnezzar, who exiled the Israelites from home in the first place.
