October 15, 2019 Rain, Rain Go Away!

Rain.  We need it to survive.  It replenishes our groundwater.  It grows our plants.  It is a blessing when we get just the right amount and a curse when we get too much.  On September 21, 2019, Roseau was overwhelmed with six inches of rain.  Many people's homes and businesses were flooded.  Lives were disrupted.  Memories were lost.  Today I would like to encourage you to help in the recovery effort.  Shop at a local business.  Help a neighbor clean up the mess left from this downpour.  Share a meal with someone who faced the flood waters.  Be a good neighbor.

Godspeed in your recovery to all those who were affected by this incredible rainfall!  Would also like to thank Steve and Jackie for checking on the Solom ranch during this storm.  What a great example of how to be a GREAT neighbor!
